In short – I love living life!
Being a sister, daughter, aunt, wife, youth worker, friend, neighbor and mama are the many roles I’ve been given thus far in life. Each role looks different and each one fills a different piece of the puzzle of my life. I’m a follower of Christ and He makes the world go ‘round causing me to put my trust in His plans each day I live. I want to love on people everyday and find the greatest joy is when I am doing just that.
I think the best place to be is where you are, which is why this blog is titled ENJOI TODAY!
God’s given each person talents and passions and we are to use them everyday! These are the things that make us feel alive. For me it’s: spending time with friends and family, sunny days, road trips, traveling to foreign lands, photography, journaling, being creative, living within community with others, running outside, autumn, time alone to reflect on life with God, being spontaneous, lounging in sweats on Saturday mornings, driving with the windows down and music blaring, learning and researching, playing with my nephews & nieces, sharing my life stories with others and learning theirs! I always want to be a learner, to discover new things and research what I don’t know.
Loving on people fills my heart with complete joy – whether it’s hanging out with a friend, providing for a practical need someone has, giving a simple (but tight) hug, or traveling the world to love on orphans – I want those I come in contact with everyday to know they are loved and cared for by someone – even a stranger. Growing up as an Air Force brat and traveling around the world, I’m fortunate to have a huge worldview and I love inviting others to experience life outside their own little circle.
Live where you’re at. Love others as if you’re the only encouragement they’ll get today. Laugh and share hugs often.
