Sunday Morning

God

-

Since we attend church at Upper Room, we go to service at night. Our mornings are relaxing and together as a family! This morning I read Brooklyn a couple Bible stories from her little Bible and as she naps, the man is making us some delicious bacon & eggs for breakfast! Now it’s not just any bacon my friends – we have a meat guy! Yes, a man we regularly buy our farm-raised organic meat from at the Farmers’ Market… and even on days where the temp outside is lower than the age of my daughter, he’s out there so we can enjoy delicious, fresh meat! More on him on another day – for now, the salty goodness of bacon is filling my home and I must go consume every last crunchy bit!

Sunday Morning

Is your trust the LORD?
Not only “in the Lord” but IS IT the Lord?

I strive each day to live as the way these verses state – to be the tree that sends out roots to the water so I may not fear or be anxious but to know that I will be cared for and still bear fruit through any drought because of Christ. Not only do I believe this deeply in my soul, but it has been shown to me through my life. Times when I could have just blown off and not allowed Him to be my trust, but even when there was nothing to see or feel or experience – I trusted. In those times, God was still at work in my life, preparing me, preparing things ahead of me and leading me step by step until the time came for the drought to be over and for me to see the next “rain.” Patience in those time can be tough, but if you’re in a time of drought or fear or anxiousness – be encouraged by His Words for He never fails us!
